Categories:  Peoples Choice, Best Mobile, NEW 50MHz and over Category.  If you're a tech we want to see a kit built for the Frequencies you have privileges on.  AN HT in a CARDBOARD Box is not what we are hoping for.  Build something great and inspire others!!

1. SHOW UP      

                  When: March 15th 2025, 8:00am - 12:00pm (setup starts 7:30 am)

2. SIGN IN AT REGISTRATION

At that time you will be given tickets as a viewer, as a participant you will be given a cup, a sticker for your CUP to put your callsign and event you are participating in to collect votes for your goKit.

3. HAVE A FUNCTIONAL goKit, a judge must be present to see you complete 2 contacts to verify your goKit is functional and can be entered for a prize.

Examples: 

• goKit’s built around WinLink or APRS:  Will be required to demonstrated in front of judge 2 verifiable contacts.
• goKit’s built to qualify in the 50MHz and over you will be asked to demonstrate that it can function in that range with 2 contacts with judge present.
• goKit’s built  to qualify for Satellite’s you must demonstrate with a judge present 2 verifiable contacts via satellite.

NOTE: Any kit not able to demonstrate that it is functional at the time they have a judge present to test,  will be given the opportunity to attempt this again.  This will depend on the time that is still available in the challenge.  If it still cannot demonstrate it at this time, any tickets collected by the participant will be collected by the judge and those tickets will be distributed among the other kits that were able to demonstration functionality.

4. Judges reserve the rights to change STUFF UP they day of the EVENT!!  Just to keep folks on their toes, remember this is supposed to be FUN!

5. HAVE FUN!!  Remember we will have folks from the community stopping and asking questions be prepared to talk about your kit.
